Satan’s Blade is one of those films that shows you how glorious 80’s slasher films are. This movie is one of those that you really didn’t know about, but watch because the cover looked cool. I’m a slasher fan through and through, and I just recently watched this classic. I hate that it has taken me so long, but better late than never.

So the story is about a maniac on the loose at a mountain ski lodge, which locals believe it is a mountain man that believes no trespassers should come to his mountains.The tourist pay no attention to the warnings and soon the massacre begins. 

This could have only been made in the 80’s. The bad acting, the bad lighting, everything that made this film even more enjoyable. These are the things I love and cherish about slashers, this is what I grew up with, what my friends and I talked about. Even though it had mistakes, this is a must watch for any horror fan. If you can find a copy, buy it. I know I need one. If you know of any other 80’s slashers that under the radar, please let me know. I’m always looking for movies I may have missed in my youth.
